Energy Wallet Services NG — please read these Terms of Service carefully before using our platform and services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Energy Wallet Services NG, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Services are intended for users within Nigeria.

2.2 Users must provide accurate information during onboarding and verification.

2.3 Energy Wallet Services NG reserves the right to refuse, suspend, restrict, or terminate access where necessary.

3. Operating Structure

3.1 Energy Wallet Services NG operates using regulated banking and payment infrastructure provided through authorized financial partners.

3.2 User funds are managed through regulated financial systems in accordance with applicable Nigerian financial regulations and compliance obligations.

4. Wallet Services

Users may:

  • fund wallets through approved transfer channels;
  • send peer-to-peer transfers;
  • withdraw to Nigerian bank accounts;
  • purchase airtime and data;
  • pay utility bills; and
  • access tokenization and marketplace services.

5. Fees

5.1 Applicable transaction fees shall be displayed before transaction confirmation.

5.2 By authorizing a transaction, users agree to the applicable fees displayed.

6. Tokenization

6.1 Users may convert wallet balances into redeemable token codes within the app.

6.2 Users are solely responsible for safeguarding token codes.

6.3 Energy Wallet Services NG shall not be liable for:

  • unauthorized redemption;
  • user negligence;
  • illegal use of tokens; or
  • third-party misuse.

6.4 Tokenization services do not create anonymous transactions.

6.5 Transaction records may be disclosed where required under Nigerian law, AML obligations, anti-terrorism financing obligations, court orders, or regulatory directives.

7. Marketplace Terms

7.1 Energy Wallet Services NG operates as an intermediary platform connecting buyers and vendors.

7.2 Vendors remain solely responsible for:

  • product quality;
  • delivery;
  • warranties;
  • representations; and
  • compliance obligations.

7.3 Buyers must:

  • maintain sufficient funds before ordering;
  • communicate through official channels; and
  • cooperate during dispute resolution processes.

8. Prohibited Activities

Users shall not engage in:

  • fraud;
  • money laundering;
  • terrorism financing;
  • cyber attacks;
  • unauthorized access;
  • identity theft;
  • illegal transactions;
  • sale of prohibited goods;
  • transaction circumvention; or
  • platform abuse.

9. Account Suspension and Offboarding

9.1 Energy Wallet Services NG reserves the right to suspend, freeze, restrict, investigate, or terminate accounts suspected of:

  • fraudulent activity;
  • suspicious transactions;
  • compliance breaches;
  • false identity usage;
  • criminal activity; or
  • violations of these Terms.

9.2 The Platform may report suspicious activity to applicable Nigerian authorities where legally required.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1 Energy Wallet Services NG shall not be liable for:

  • indirect losses;
  • consequential damages;
  • business interruption;
  • third-party failures;
  • banking delays;
  • utility provider failures;
  • user negligence; or
  • off-platform transactions.

11. Intellectual Property

All platform systems, branding, software, interfaces, trademarks, designs, and proprietary materials remain the property of Energy Wallet Services NG or its licensors.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

13. Regulatory Compliance

Energy Wallet Services NG may comply with lawful requests, directives, investigations, reporting obligations, or compliance requirements issued by:

  • CBN;
  • EFCC;
  • NFIU;
  • NDPC;
  • FIRS;
  • law enforcement agencies; and
  • other competent Nigerian authorities.
